On 24th April, 2016 central universities basic scientific research operating expense key interdiscipline research project interim inspection review meeting was held in the conference room on the second floor of the administration building. This meeting was organized by both science and technology development research institute and scientific research department. Cao Qinglin, the dean of science and technology development research institute, Sun Yan, the deputy-dean of science and technology development research institute, Wang Hai, deputy division chief of science and technology department, principles of other central colleges and expert attended the meeting. The review meeting was held by Wang Hai.

The projects involved in this interim inspection review meeting were reported by the chief experts on their own. The report details included research object, system and mechanism, symbolic achievements and existing problems and difficulties etc. The projects reply included two parts: 8 minutes report by the project leader and 2 minutes questioning by the experts. Through the replies, they communicated the project progress with each other and achieved to learn from each other in the mean time.

It is reported that, our university had established the special project of key interdiscipline research in the central university basic scientific research operating expense since 2016. After project application, experts evaluation and review by the basic scientific research operating expense leading group, there were 13 projects approved including <Progress Report on the Mathematics Applications to Life Science and Quantum Information Theory>.
